Fair Housing

It is the policy of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) to comply fully with all federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws and to operate in accordance with the rules and regulations governing Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity in housing and employment. Specifically, DCA shall not on account of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, family status, disability or age deny any family or individual the opportunity to apply for or receive assistance under HUD's Program.

Security

Several tools, policies and protocols are used to safeguard the submission of information through the DCA website. Security measures have been integrated into the design, implementation and day-to-day operations of the entire operating environment as part of our continuing commitment to the security of electronic content as well as the electronic transmission of information.

Email
E-mail is not a secure form of transmission. As such DCA does not recommend that you submit sensitive or personally identifiable information via e-mail. If you choose to provide us with personal information in an e-mail we may use the e-mail and the information contained within it to improve our service to you or to respond to your request. Sometimes we forward your e-mail to other State employees who may be better able to help you, and this staff may be employed by a different agency within the State. Except for authorized law enforcement investigations or as required by law, we do not share our e-mail with any other organizations outside of the public sector.
