Employment Opportunities
Making the Most of Employment Opportunities
with the Georgia Department
of Community Affairs
Thank you for your interest in the Georgia Department of Community Affairs as a potential employer. We are proud
of our employees, the services they perform and the clients we serve.
Guidelines that can help make your application process with the Department a satisfying experience are provided below. Please take a minute to read and familiarize yourself with the following information so we can serve you better.
All job vacancies, open to the public, are posted in the Job Openings section of our website. The Department
of Community Affairs only accepts online applications for current vacancies.
If you are applying for an advertised position, you must submit an online application. You will
not be considered an official applicant for any Department position until we have your application on file.
Also, you must apply for an open position during the official advertisement period.
When your application is received, it will be evaluated to determine if you meet the specified employment qualifications. If you qualify for consideration, we will make your application available to the hiring supervisor (applications are submitted to a hiring supervisor after the position closing date). The hiring division will review the applications of the qualified applicants and will select those individuals they wish to interview. Not every eligible applicant will be interviewed. Only the most qualified candidates will be contacted.
Since we do not review applications on file, it will be your responsibility to keep up-to-date on our vacancies.
NO PHONE CALLS, EMAILS, OR FAXES PLEASE.
However, if you experience technical difficulties with the application or the Employment Opportunities webpage, please contact Human Resources.
