Program Description
The HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME Program), created by the National Affordable Housing Act of 1990, provides funds to state and local governments to support affordable housing initiatives. The Georgia Housing and Finance Authority (GHFA) is the Participating Jurisdiction (PJ) and recipient of the State of Georgia's allocation of funds from the federal HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) program. GHFA contracts with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) to administer the programs funded by this HOME allocation.
