The Awards Program honors those whose ongoing efforts in community improvement, waste reduction, and/or litter prevention exemplify leadership in protecting Georgia’s environment. The KGB mission is to build and support community environmental activities and behaviors resulting in a more beautiful Georgia. The Awards Program is based on the belief that positive reinforcement of hardworking and deserving individuals advances KGB’s mission and is a key way to create sustainable communities. See who won in the 2011 Awards Program.

Why Should You Compete?

Let Keep Georgia Beautiful provide recognition for you, your organization, and your volunteers. Do you need to heighten awareness of your program with a city council, board of directors, students or your boss? What better way to attract new funding, business and civic partners or volunteers than to have an award-winning program?

The first place winners will be recognized at Keep Georgia Beautiful Annual Awards Event (more event details to come). Certificates are also available for second place, and Distinguished Winners. A press release will be issued and sent out statewide with results.
