Each year the Department administers a wage and salary survey to Georgia's local governments.
The survey requests the pay range, number of full time employees, and the number of hours worked each week for over
160 different local government jobs. Information from the survey is used to produce printable reports for use by local
governments. The printable reports are available in county and municipal editions for each of four groups of like positions:
General and Administrative; Public Safety; and Public Works; and Elected Officials. To access the printable reports, select
"Wage and Salary Survey Reports" below and then select "Printable Reports."
DCA's Wage and Salary Data is also available in a searchable database that includes data from 1996 to the present.
To access the searchable database, select "Wage and Salary Survey Reports" below and then select "Search Current and
Past Years' Data."
