Contact Georgia CHIP

Currently, the state gives money to some cities and counties for home repair help through a program called Community HOME Investment Program, or CHIP for short. These cities and counties grant that money to home owners. Below are two links. One is a list of those cities and counties with CHIP Funding. The other is a bit more about the program.

Through local lenders, the State can assist you in finding a mortgage and down payment help. Our Georgia Dream program is a good place to start. GADream

Georgia Balance of State Continuum of Care
There are folks around the state that can help you find housing quickly. Help to Georgia’s homeless is provided through our Continuum of Care network, or CoC’s for short. There are 8 CoC’s in the state that serve local areas. If you are not in those areas, you should contact the Balance of State CoC for help. There are two buttons below. The first button will help you find the right place to call and the second is for more information about the Continuum of Care network.

FAIR Housing Complaint
Your fair housing rights are protected by the federal government. If you feel like those rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with Department of Housing and Urban Development. You can file a complaint by phone at 1-800-669-9777 or by clicking the Complaint Form link below. We’ve also provided a link for more information about the process.
